Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, replacing linens, and providing a welcoming environment for our guests.
- Ensure all common areas, including hallways, lobby, and restrooms, are kept clean, sanitized, and presentable.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and upholstery cleaning, based on the schedule, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
- Stock and organize housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, ensuring availability and efficiency throughout the shift.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to the company’s hygiene and safety guidelines, ensuring the use of appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- Cooperate with other staff members and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the establishment.
- Assist with laundry tasks, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, towels, and other items as necessary.
- Follow established procedures for documenting lost and found items, ensuring all lost items are reported and cataloged appropriately.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required. We welcome individuals with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Good command of English (verbal and written) to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is required.
